Micromax launches “Micromax Canvas Nitro A310″ for Rs.12,999

The Indian smartphone manufacturer Micromax has today released its new version of smartphone in India – the Micromax Canvas Nitro A310. Priced at INR 12,999, this smartphone comes with a lot of features, one of them being the most wanted octa-core processor and 2GB RAM.
The Canvas Nitro A310 can compete with the newly released Motorola’s Moto G, which is available at the same price, and the Xiaomi Mi3. As already said, the powerful asset for the Canvas Nitro to attract customers is the octa-core processor at a speed of 1.7GHz and 2GB RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 4.4.2Kitkat with a 5-inch HD IPS display and has 8GB internal memory expandable upto 32 GB with a micro SD card. The device features a 13MP auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP fixed focus front camera.

Motorola released its new smartphone – the Moto G (2nd Generation) – today along with the Moto X 2nd generation and its much hyped smartwatch -the Moto 360.
The Moto G (2nd generation) comes with a quad-core 1.2 GHz processor, less than 1 GB RAM, 8 GB inbuilt storage expandable up to 16 GB with a micro SD card, 5-inch display, 8 MP camera 2MP front camera and will run on the latest Android Kitkat 4.4.4.

Android 4.4.2 Kitkat update rolling out for Sony Xperia T2 Ultra, adds moving apps to SD card feature

Sony has posted in its blog that it has started releasing the Android Kitkat 4.4.2 update to its Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia T2 Ultra dual android  smartphones. This update will change the build number of the Xperia T2 Ultra users to 19. 1.A.0.373 while the build number of the Xperia T2 Ultra dual changes to 19.1.C.0.116.
One surprising change that this update brings is that Sony is now providing users with the facility to move apps to SD cards. This option can be seen in Settings. Go to Settings -> Apps and click on any app. ‘Move to SD‘ card option will be displayed. Another new column ‘On SD card‘ has been added to give a glance of all the apps that are on the SD card at a given time.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 gets Kitkat update

Users of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 in the United States have begun to recieve Android Kitkat software upgrade update on their tablets earlier this week.

the update is of the size 712 MB so it will take some time to get downloaded and installed on the device. So using Wi-Fi is the best choice to do this update on the Galaxy Note 8 tablet.

Android 4.4.3 Kitkat update OTA [Updated]

The Android 4.4.3 Kitkat update has begun rolling out to multiple devices. First was the  2013 Nexus 7 (Wi-Fi only). Then the update started hitting to Nexus 5, Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play editions.
Then the Google Play editions of  HTC One M7 and the HTC one M8 started recieving the OTA (Over-the-air) update to Android 4.4.3. This update will change the build number of HTC One M8  and the HTC One M7 from KOT49H to KTU84L.
