Windows XP support ending soon..

Microsoft recently announced that it ends its support for Windows XP soon (on April 8th,2014).

What does end of Windows XP support mean?
Ending of support indicates that technical assistance for Windows XP will no longer be available, which also includes the end of automatic updates that help protect our PC(running on Windows XP). On and after 8thApril,2014,Microsoft will stop providing the download of Microsoft Security Essentials.If you already have a PC running with Windows XP which has Microsoft Security Essentials installed on it, you would be able to use it for a limited time but you receive no updates.

So this explains to us that even after the end of windows XP support from Microsoft, you would still be able to run your PC installed with Windows XP, but problem of having many new malwares/viruses entering into the Operating System(OS) cannot be resolved.Hence, further protection of your PC becomes difficult if it still continues to run with Windows XP.
