Android 5.0 Lollipop might release on November 3rd,2014

Google just clearly confirmed what it had previously stated: Android 5.0 Lollipop will be coming out officially on November 3rd. To the App developers who are currently working on their apps for Android 5.0 OS, Google sent a note along with the Android 5.0 SDK file.

The note says that all the app developers should get started with developing and testing their apps on Android 5.0 and publish them on Google Play Store before Android 5.0 Lollipop reaches out to consumers on November 3,2014.

Google has recently unveiled the full name of its latest Android OS – Android 5.0 Lollipop –  sticking to its naming convention of naming the OS after desserts and treats. Nokia has released their HERE Maps, a clear competitor to Google Maps, for the Samsung smartphones on the Samsung Galaxy Apps Store today. The HERE Maps app is absolutely free for all the Samsung smartphone users.

The main advantage of HERE Maps over Google Maps is that HERE Maps allows its users to access maps offline, which implies no data connection required once you have downloaded the required maps. While Google Maps allows only some segments of its maps to be downloaded for offline usage, HERE took a step forward.

Unable to unlock your Android? Here’s the fix!

If you have tried too many times to unlock your Android device by pattern unlock or if you have forgot your lock screen password, there are other possible methods lo unlock your Android device. Those are discussed in this post.

Using Google Account:

If you have set a pattern lock for your Android device and you failed multiple times in unlocking the device, you can sign-in into your Google account and unlock your device. To do so, on the pattern-lock screen, tap on ‘Forgot Pattern‘ and this will prompt you to enter the username and password of your Google account.

If you have correctly entered the username and password of your Google account, the Android device will lead you to the Settings menu where you can reset your pattern lock.

If you are facing any issues while signing-in into your Google account, visit this page and follow the trouble-shooting steps given by Google.
