In this post, how to save contacts from Android phone to SIM card and memory card will be discussed.

Save Android phone contacts to SIM card:

A SIM card (Subscriber Identity Module) can usually store up to 250 contact details. The details it stores include only the contact name and their number. It does not store the contact photo, email address etc.
So when transferring contacts to SIM, sometimes the message “some information will be lost” appears. This message implies this same thing that it will save only the contact name and number.Nothing more and nothing less.

How to backup contacts from Android

Backup of contacts from the Android phone to Gmail:

• In Android phones, it is an advantage to have the user’s Gmail account in sync with the phone so that it helps in saving contacts of the phone.

• On the Android phone, go to Settings->Accounts. Under Accounts, it will  show the list of accounts that have been sync to the device.

• In that list, look for the Gmail account that is used to sync to the phone.

How to backup Android phone

 

Taking back up of a mobile phone is advantageous any time. Knowing how to take back up of the data in one’s phone comes handy at the time when a hard reset is to be performed on the device.
Since performing a hard rest or a factory reset on a phone erases all the data on the phone, it is important to take back up of the phone’s data. By doing so, the back up information can be again transferred into the phone again.

Android camera not working

 

Sometimes, when the camera in Android phone is opened to take a picture or to record a video, a blank screen appears. This is not the most frequent problem  in Android phones, but there is a chance for it to occur in some of the Android phones.

The popular messaging service, WhatsApp has released its latest update for its users on Android.This latest version 2.11.230 update of WhatsApp is not available yet on Google Play. Sometimes, when updating  Windows phone, users encounter some problems, like the  messages that pop up on the screen of Windows Phone while updating are called the error codes like 801881cd, 80188264, 80188265, 801882cb, 801881d0, 8018822a, 80072f30, 80072ee7, 80072ee2, 80072efd 80072f76, 80072efe,80188d1, 80188d2. The meaning of these codes and the tips to solve these errors are given in this post.
Before proceeding with the troubleshooting of the problem, first go through the following tips to make the updating procedure easy:

• If the phone says “Battery Low” during the installation of an update, connect the phone to the charger and do not disconnect it until the installation completes (wise idea is to have the phone fully charged before starting the installation of any update).
