Google Play Store updated to v5.1.11 for Android

Google has updated its Play Store app for all Android devices. The update had brought the version of the app to v5.1.11 and the major that has come with this update is the user interface.

The hamburger menu icon animations has disappeared and new arrow animations with full-height header which come in bright colors. Real time shadows are observed on the Play Store with this update. But, in order for users to experience shadows on their Play Store, they need to have Lollipop installed in their device.  So all those Android users whose devices are awaiting the Lollipop update must wait for some more time to see shadows casting in the Play Store on their device.

Android 5.0 Lollipop might release on November 3rd,2014

Google just clearly confirmed what it had previously stated: Android 5.0 Lollipop will be coming out officially on November 3rd. To the App developers who are currently working on their apps for Android 5.0 OS, Google sent a note along with the Android 5.0 SDK file.

The note says that all the app developers should get started with developing and testing their apps on Android 5.0 and publish them on Google Play Store before Android 5.0 Lollipop reaches out to consumers on November 3,2014.

Android 5.0 Lollipop brings multi-user access to smartphones

Android 5.0 Lollipop has got quite a few exciting features, one of which is the material design UI which completely takes Android user experience to a new level. Top 10 features of the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop

Google has recently unveiled the full name of its latest Android OS – Android 5.0 Lollipop –  sticking to its naming convention of naming the OS after desserts and treats.
